The FUE technique is one of the hair transplantation methods that intrigues people with its natural-looking results. This is the process of transplanting hair to areas with partial hair loss or to the scalp where baldness is experienced. In the FUE method, hair follicles are first taken from a different part of the body and then they are transplanted into the area where baldness is experienced. This is a painless, easy and effective type of hair transplant method.

Hair Transplant Procedure with FUE Technique

Before the hair transplantation, the patient's bald scalp is analyzed. The doctor examines the patient. At the same time, he talks to the patient about his/her expectations. How the operation will progress and what kind of result will be obtained are explained to the patient by the doctor.

After examining the patient's body, the donor area is determined, that is, the area where the grafts will be collected. Generally, the back of the neck region is preferred. The plastic surgeon removes the hair follicles from the skin one by one. These hair follicles are then transplanted into the scalp. After the transplantation, a bandage is applied to protect the relevant site. FUE technique is also applied to areas such as legs and arms. Recovery Process After FUE Hair Transplantation

FUE hair transplantation takes about 4 to 8 hours. Factors such as the area to be transplanted and the number of hair follicles to be collected are decisive in the duration. Since this technique is an outpatient procedure, the patient is discharged from the hospital after the operation. There are no major side effects experienced during the recovery process, which is another factor that intrigues people. After that, the doctor removes the bandage, and the doctor washes the patient's hair in the clinic. The periodic dressing is carried out for about a week. There may be tenderness, redness, and mild pain in the areas where hair is transplanted and grafts are collected. These side effects will disappear in a short time. The transplanted hair falls out in the first couple of months. This situation is temporary. When it grows back after hair shedding, these results will be permanent.
